ashley fox
Ashley Fox is one of the NFL’s most respected journalists and a trailblazer in the ego-infused world of sports media.
Since 1993, Ashley has reported from some of the world’s largest sporting events, including the Summer Olympics, Wimbledon, the Super Bowl, the NBA Finals, the World Series, the Stanley Cup Finals, the PGA Championship and the Final Four. For seven years, she was a reporter for the largest sports media network in the world, ESPN, and appeared on shows like SportsCenter and Pardon the Interruption. She was also a columnist for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Needless to say, Ashley's first love is storytelling.
In addition to being a world class sports communicator, Ashley is a public speaker who teaches strategies of leadership, communication, and perseverance. She is also executive producing a forthcoming docu-series about an NBA player, his sneaker obsession, and what basketball means to the cultures of cities across America. And – in her copious spare time – she is writing a memoir about her career and complicated relationship with her late father, a former head men’s basketball coach at Duke University.
As the host of OUTFOXED, a mostly-sports podcast for people with soul, Ashley is proud to give a voice to today's preeminent public sports figures on topics at the heart of sports, culture, and politics.
Originally from North Carolina, Ashley now resides in suburban Philadelphia with her two children and one insanely cute Golden Retriever.
